50-something introvert with a gazillion creative interests and trying to work on all or most some of them in between chronic health issues.
I enjoy connecting and sharing about most any subjects really – I’m addicted to learning new things. As the blog grows, subjects evolve, are added, and others slide into the background for a while.
In the beginning there was plant dyeing along with some knitting and spinning. I enjoy painting, photography, and photo editing, if pictures and colour are involved, I’m hooked. I’ve been teaching myself about weaving. With making fabric comes improving my sewing skills, and on the bucket list is among other things bookbinding. And so it goes, skipping along, sometimes going round in circles.
It appears that working with my hands is necessary to keep my imagination and my brain alive. Amazing discovery. I may talk about such things too once in a while.
We live in the country, in a small house in a windtunnel surrounded by nothing but fields. Can’t imagine living in a place where I can’t see the horizon! Unless it’s a forest, which would make me very happy too. A selection of animal friends also occupy the premises, often competing with a pile of books for my attention.
All images are my original work unless otherwise stated. Please do not use or copy them without asking, as well as crediting and providing a link to my blog. Pinning is fine too under those conditions. Thank you!

Thanks for stopping by! It seems it’s easier to find kindred spirits on the internet these days than in your own neighbourhood… But I do love the variety of inspiration available this way.
